{What is Easier to Remember?}

So, I have tried to register my domain name, but a lot of green apples were taken. These are what were available. Which do you think is easier to remember?

greenapplesphotography.com (notice the s on apples)
greenapplephotography.net (is there a disadvantage to being a .net?)
green-apple-photography.com (too confusing?)
greenapplephotographybylindsey.com (too long?)
greenapple-photography.com
greenapplephotographyonline.com

If anyone has any other ideas please let me know. Greenapplephotography.com, greenapplephoto.com, gaphotography and greenapplestudios.com were all taken.

*I just researched picking domain names and they suggest always using a .com, not making your name too long, not using dashes and keeping your branding simple. Shoot. All of my options include one of those. It took me forever to come up with Green Apple. I want the domain name to make sense and not be too difficult to remember and easy to find. I think greenapples might be confusing, I guess .net isn't good and I'm not sure on dashes. I'm sure they are tricky to remember. I have already taken the blogspot name of greenapplephotography. At least that was available!*

I would say, stay away from the last one. It can get pretty confusing when you add dashes.

Is it a possibility to just use your first and last name as the domain name and then just call it Green Apple Photography by Lindsey Stewart? Or is that even more confusing?

I also like Green Apples Photography.

Hmm, so far I'm liking the green-apple-photography.com best. I would stick with a com over a net because that's what most people will type in anyway.
You may want to consider adding something to make your domain name a little different than the other green apple site. Maybe SLCgreenapplephotography.com or GAphotography.com or grapplephotography.com or gogreenphotography. I dunno- just rambling ideas now :)

Hey, what website builder are you going through?

I like Caitlin's idea of using your first and last name as the domain name, but it looks like it's taken. Maybe LindseyStewartPhotography.com?
Or utahgreenapple.com or LSgreenapple.com, or SLCgreenapple.com or Lindseysapples.com

I like the greenapplesphotography.com. I too think the .com is better than the .net.

I say go with something different like your name, or initials or something. Otherwise you will end up like me, with everyone emailing you about shooting weddings in Michigan. Good luck with the business. Since having baby #2 I am laying off the weddings for a bit, so I will defiantly send any seekers your way!

I like greenapple-photography.com I don't think one dash would be too confusing at all. I don't love the apple with an S on the end of it, I like it better just as green apple. Just my thoughts! I am excited for you to get your photography blog up so then I can tell people to go and look at it.

I like greenapplephotographyonline.com
It may seem a little long but it seems easy to remember.
