{Purple Jelly Fish}

First of all, I just have to say I am working for the first time with my new MacBook Pro and it is so, so awesome. Yay! I finally got my computer for my company. It is sweet. Sweet, sweet.

Anyway, other than that I thought I'd post a few...okay a lot, of pictures from girls camp. I have been such a slacker lately it was the least I could do. I was going to write something fabulous to go along with all of these pictures, but instead I think I will let the pictures tell the story (along with a few bylines). Don't you love girls camp? I still remember all of the songs. I once tried to teach Scott, but for some weird reason he wasn't interested. Silly rabbit. Ok, without further ado, I present to you the Murray 12th ward Purple Jellyfish!!! (cheers and whistles)

These are the costumes we made for our "Ocean Idol" contest. Our performance was stellar. I particularly enjoyed the tentacle conga line...
Under the sea
we love to be
up here at girl's camp it's better
take it from me

Paula loved us. We won best purple plankton eater. I guess that doesn't say much about our singing skills. Oh well.

Here is my attempt to photograph my costume.

Everyone else's costume

J is for Jellyfish

Yo, yo, yo.

Ok, I need to dye my hair. So faded. Oh yeah, and I am wearing lovely glasses. You likey?

Yummy food.

A camp leaders job is never done.

Smile! You just painted a rock.

A wicked game of spoons

Camping feet. Amber, seriously, what's with the shoes. You look too pretty for camping.

My feet just got dirtier and dirtier. I smelled like a treat when I got home.

The silly purple princess ate pickle ice cream on Tuesday...The funky alligator lady likes to sleep in a tree...Telephone is fun!

That was an awesome post. It brought back so many memories of girls camp! Do they still sing A Rig Of Bamboo? We used to have girls that would bear their testimonies like two or three times in one night too. There is nothing like girls camp.. Love it!

I love these!! I also love girls camp. "I said a boom-chick-a-boom!" I do the best valley girl & cheerleader versions ever! And yes, everyone bears their testimony like 5 times and cries every time.

ps: I retrieved my wedding dress. Have yet to try it on yet. I'm too scared. I did start going to the gym though. So hopefully we can soon trash my dress! :)
