I came home from running errands today and guess what I saw? Oliver, sitting patiently on the driveway. This is the 4th time this week he has gotten out of the yard. We keep thinking after each escape that we have properly fortified the fence, but I think it is obvious that he is smarter than us. The chain link is not doing it's job. I'm glad he doesn't run too far away, but I'm so worried that he will run in front of car or get attacked by the neighbor dogs. He smells stinky and has sticky hair so there is a story to his adventure. I wish he could tell us. I also wish I could talk to him and tell him to cut out the escape shaningans. I don't know what to do about that dog. Luckily, the neighbors keep an eye out for him, but I think a new fence will be going in next year.

I think escapes stress him out though. Whenever we get him back and put him in the house he immediately crashes. Right now, he is passed out and doggy snoring.

I wonder what his adventures entailed. Was it a roll in some honey or a trip to visit his girlfriend? Dogs are so sneaky. I'm glad he's safe though.
Oh, Ollie :). You know he's just thinking the grass is always greener... Next time just strap a video camera to his head and go on the adventure with him!
